RENEX is one of the largest and longest-established Polish companies in the electronics industry. Despite its tremendous growth in Poland and on international markets, RENEX remains a family-owned company. RENEX GROUP co-owner Marzena Szczotkowska-Topić talks about success in the high-tech industry.

Could you please briefly describe what you do?

We are a Polish family-owned company dedicated to providing comprehensive support to the electronics industry. We have been operating for 32 years providing our customers with a full range of products and services: from hand tools to automated electronics production lines. We support our customers in the automation and robotization of production processes. Under our REECO brand, we are a manufacturer of antistatic industrial furniture, specialized clothing and the REECO series of robots awarded with the TERAZ POLSKA emblem – devices that allow automation of soldering, screwdriving, dispensing and other processes – depending on the customer’s needs. The REECO Antistatic Table developed by us was awarded the Good Design title. We are a partner of global brands such as YAMAHA, HELLER, JBC and INDIUM. We also provide products and a wide range of services in the creation and operation of CLEANROOM clean rooms. For the past five years, we have been the organizer of the POLISH SOLDERING CHAMPIONSHIP – RSC and the sponsor of the Polish National Team in Soldering.

Where in your opinion is the key to success?

Success depends on people. In this spirit, we remain a family-owned company made up of creative and competent people. This also translates into relationships with customers. We believe that by sharing our knowledge and experience from the broad spectrum of our Group’s activities, we support both the development of individual companies and the electronics industry as a whole. In pursuit of this mission, we have created the RENEX TECHNOLOGY AND TRAINING CENTER, where we develop new technologies in the field of automation and robotization, but above all support our partners through training and consulting. It is home to Central and Eastern Europe’s largest and longest-established AUTHORIZED IPC TRAINING CENTER – which has already trained more than 30,000 professionals in electronics manufacturing standards and an AUTHORIZED YAMAHA ROBOTICS TRAINING CENTER, where we train in the operation and programming of industrial robots. The success of these projects is underscored by the fact that we are the place where specialists from all over Europe are trained. What is also very important to is that we reach out to our customers by supporting their processes in their companies as well, thanks to our professional staff of Technical and Sales Advisors and, as confirmed by the award we received in recent days, the best service for YAMAHA SMT equipment in Europe.

Can you share your upcoming plans for the company’s growth?

International development is key for us. We already have branches in 4 European countries, and our products are available on almost every continent. We have recently expanded the distribution network of our REECO brand to such countries as Japan, the United States and Saudi Arabia, which, combined with our increased efforts in the European market, meant that – despite the pandemic – we were able to maintain significant export growth in 2020. Our goal is to create a strong Polish brand, synonymous with quality, in global markets.
