YOSENSI, based in Bialystok, Poland, has announced the expansion of its manufacturing capabilities through the introduction of a new pick & place unit with the advisory and technical support of RENEX Group.
Yosensi specializes in small batch production of its own electronic devices. The specialized products it manufactures operate within the Internet of Things, gathering information – e.g. environmental or regarding production process – and transmitting it over long distances. Yosensi’s devices are used, for example, in grey water monitoring, air quality or agriculture and can now be found in the United States, Australia and a large part of European countries.
Originally, the company outsourced its SMT production, which significantly reduced its flexibility and increased lead times. The company imported the first pick & place machine to address these issues in-house. However, the investment proved problematic due to a lack of technical support and appropriate know-how.
In subsequent investments – including the latest one – Yosensi was supported by RENEX Group, which provided assistance in selecting the right equipment, its implementation, training for operators and service.
