June remains a special month for RENEX Group—a time for reflection, meetings, and shared celebration. On June 13, 2025, another edition of the RENEX Family Picnic took place, this year held under the theme of “Space.” The event’s central motif directly referenced one of the company’s most significant achievements in recent years, while also symbolically emphasizing its continued direction of growth.
The event, traditionally organized on the grounds adjacent to the company’s headquarters in Włocławek, gathered hundreds of participants—Employees, Collaborators, and their families. The space theme was present throughout the visual setting and the program of attractions, which included entertainment zones for children as well as integration activities for adults.
Throughout the event, numerous space-themed attractions and competitions awaited both adults and children. Children enjoyed foam parties, inflatable playgrounds, skill-based games, quizzes, and arts and crafts workshops. Adults, on the other hand, took advantage of the relaxation zone, prize lottery, and specially prepared competition areas. A staple of the program was the prize lottery, which—as every year—drew considerable attention and concluded with an evening drawing that sparked much excitement and joy.
A particularly special moment was the presentation of Anniversary Awards to employees celebrating their 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th work anniversaries with the company. Honoring their dedication in the presence of the entire RENEX Group community highlighted that the company’s growth is, above all, the story of the people who have co-created it over the years.
One of the most striking highlights of this year’s event was the presence of the PUT Rocketlab team from Poznań University of Technology—a student project sponsored by RENEX Group. The team won the international rocket competition FAR-OUT 2025, held at the turn of May and June in California’s Mojave Desert.
Competing under the organization Friends of Amateur Rocketry, the students presented their HEXA 5 rocket, which reached an altitude of 34,551 feet (over 10.5 km), exceeding the target ceiling and securing 1st place in Category B (20,000–50,000 feet). The project also received an award for the most efficient hybrid rocket engine and set a site record in its class at the FAR launch range. Notably, the team included Miłosz Krzyżanowski—a RENEX Electronics Education Center instructor—who actively contributed to the winning design.
During the RENEX Family Picnic, a dedicated thematic zone was prepared for the team, where visitors could see the HEXA 5 rocket up close, talk with its creators, and take part in various arts workshops and educational contests. The space-themed quizzes were especially popular, blending fun with learning and serving as a great way to engage both younger and older participants alike.
The “Space” theme was no coincidence for another important reason—recently, RENEX Group was granted the status of an official training facility of the European Space Agency (ESA), becoming the only such center in Central and Eastern Europe. This is the result of many years of work and continuous development of the RENEX EEC training offer. The ESA status is not only a confirmation of high standards but also a new responsibility—providing certified training for space industry professionals from across Europe.
This year’s RENEX Family Picnic once again confirmed that the company is not just a workplace, but a community—built on everyday commitment, trust, and mutual respect. Events like this serve as a reminder that people—their relationships, cooperation, and sense of belonging—are the true foundation of the company. The #3mamysięrazem initiative is more than just a slogan for RENEX—it’s a genuine way of functioning for an organization that upholds its values beyond the scope of daily duties.
