RENEX Group informed that it has just been awarded by YAMAHA with the prize for the Best Distributor of YAMAHA Robots in Europe. The modern YAMAHA AUTHORIZED TRAINING CENTER and the high level of knowledge provided to engineers from manufacturing companies in Poland and Europe were highly appreciated when awarding the prize. This is the second award recently granted to RENEX Group. A few weeks ago the group was awarded the title of Best Service Supplier in Europe in the field of SMT equipment by another section of YAMAHA.

YAMAHA emphasized the RENEX Group’s participation in the promotion of the brand, in particular through training and consulting activities related to the newly established YAMAHA AUTHORIZED TRAINING CENTER.

A new training unit was established within the RENEX TECHNOLOGY AND TRAINING CENTER. The Center conducts courses in robotics and automation, aiming at providing a wide range of engineers with knowledge and know-how allowing for the fullest possible utilization of the capabilities offered by YAMAHA industrial robots. Due to the wide range of equipment available on site and the highest level of training, the Center also trains YAMAHA specialists.

This award mobilizes us to greater effort and systematic improvement of professional qualifications. The results we have achieved owe a lot to our specialists and engineers and the RENEX network of integrators in Poland and the Balkans. This award is all the more valuable as it was won at a time of a global crisis caused by the pandemic. It is at times like this that we are reassured that our efforts and dedication are noticed and appreciated. – commented Ms. Marzena Szczotkowska-Topić and Mr. Predrag Topić – owners of RENEX Group.

YAMAHA elements in the form of the SCARA robot were used in the series of REECO robots developed by the RENEX Group. These devices have received numerous awards, including the TERAZ POLSKA title. The robots enable automation of such production processes as soldering, screw assmbly, labelling, dosing, and others – according to individual orders. The subject of REECO Robots has recently been raised by YAMAHA as a perfect example of application possibilities of their devices – https://fa.yamaha-motor-im.de/get-the-right-recipe-to-leave-the-others-behind/

As RENEX Group representatives emphasize, the technological advancements YAMAHA has recently unveiled will be very important for continued success in 2021. In 2020 alone, YAMAHA introduced three state-of-the-art devices: including a new SCARA robot model, a series of linear conveyors, and a vision system.

YK-XE SCARA ROBOTS

Two new models in the SCARA YK-XE series have been launched: the YK610XE-10 with an arm length of 610mm and the YK710XE-10 with an arm length of 710mm. The devices are based on the proven technology of the current YK-XE series with a maximum load capacity of 10 kg and a standard cycle time of 0.39 seconds (YK610XE-10) or 0.42 seconds (YK710XE-10).

With the 400mm arm length SCARA YK400XE-4 robot introduced late last year, the YK-XE series now includes three models, giving an even wider range of applications – from handling and sorting of small components in manufacturing of, for example, smartphones and computers, to working with large components such as those used in household appliances and the automotive industry.

LCMR200 LINEAR CONVEYORS

YAMAHA has recently also introduced the new LCMR200 series linear transporters. The designers have maintained the high accuracy and short stroke characteristic of the existing LCM-100 model, but have improved the module design. The linear guide and carriage rail have been enlarged and strengthened, while keeping the overall size the same. The result is a more robust model that is better suited for environments where foreign objects and static noise are present.

The system allows up to 64 sliders to be operated by a single YHX controller, and by creating a new programming model using the Standard Profile, the need to program individual controller events is eliminated. This greatly simplifies the integration process.

RCXIVY2+ VISION SYSTEM

Another of YAMAHA’s new product launches is the new RCXiVY2+ vision system, which is capable of detecting irregularly shaped objects and can therefore be used in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and apparel industries, among others.

The system is equipped with a new high-performance camera, and thanks to its enhanced processing capabilities, its recognition time is up to 45% faster than the current iVY2 model.

The new model is also fully integrated with robots by incorporating vision, lighting and tracking control cards into the RCX3 series robot controller. This change enables robot control, image processing, lighting control and conveyor control from the robot program, significantly reducing setup time.
